In January of 2014, Harry's, then a 10-month-old startup, raised 122M to buy the 93-year-old company and factory Feintechnik. The Key motivation behind the acquisition was move towards vertical integration; with the purchase of the factory Harry's now has the ability to control the design and manufacturing of its products, and sell directly to consumers.

With the factory Harry's acquired an entire library of established brands, in addition to massive distribution channels. Harry's turned to Astro Studios to build out a healthy catalog of new design options.

The Harry's Brand

Harry’s did something unthinkable in a stubborn, established market: offered stylish razors and blades at reasonable prices. After disrupting the men’s grooming market in the US, Harry’s is bringing its signature style and value to other markets through the newly acquired Feintechnik brands.
